Wildlife Technician

Abra Kadabra Environmental Services, one of the premier pest and wildlife control companies in the greater Twin Cities area, is seeking a dedicated wildlife technician with excellent time management, communication and problem solving skills to join our team. In this role, no two days are the same. Every job brings new challenges and rewards which makes it pretty exciting to come to work each morning. Your daily work environment includes attics, crawl spaces, roofs and the great outdoors in general. You’ll be responsible for providing permanent solutions for customers who are dealing with wildlife issues by trapping the animals and then repairing any damage they may have caused to the home.

Not an expert on nuisance wildlife? No problem. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about these pests along with strategies to ensure they don’t come back. At the end of the day, you’ll feel the satisfaction of helping customers during a time when they need us most. Requirements and responsibilities:

A basic understanding of construction
Customer service experience
Must be able to carry over 50 pounds
Must be comfortable on ladders and roofs and in tight attics and crawl spaces
Project management skills
Team oriented attitude with a passion for helping others through humane control measures
Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule with on-call weekend rotation
Prior routing experience a plus
Must be able to pass a drug test and a seven-year felony background check
Applicants with degrees in wildlife biology, those with state or federal wildlife experience and former law enforcement and military personnel are encouraged to apply
