If you live in Minnesota and have termite damage, it’s common to have it misidentified as Carpenter ant activity. We’ve long heard that termites don’t live here. Unfortunately, they sometimes do. Habitat modification, climate change and adaptability of the termites has allowed Eastern Subterranean termites to be occasionally by found right here in the Twin Cities. Some of these homes we have personally serviced for their eradication. 

If you have (or suspect) an active termite issue, our trained pest control technician will come out and identify confirm their presence, inspect your property and home, and identify a treatment plan. Our team will schedule a treatment for your home. Special care is given to avoid using products in proximity to wells and other sensitive areas. A shallow trench will be excavated around the home, and filled in with the appropriate amount of product. That seeps down into the soil, through their mud tubes, and is picked up by worker termites. They bring it back to their colony, spreading it by feeding and grooming each other. The product becomes effective after about 4 days, at which point a precipitous drop in population will be observed.
