The tragic murder of local boy Eli Hart impacted our community on a deep level. It is unfortunate that these things happen. It is relievingly heartwarming to see the way it brought the community together in affirmation of those values we all hold dear. We cherish our children, our community, and the pursuit of happiness. We cherish mutual respect, and common decency.
A memorial playground is slated for Mound’s Surfside Park, and we are proud to contribute to them reaching their goal. Eli will be remembered, and the community will see a much anticipated upgrade in the Surfside Park playground.
