WeCan
(Western Communities Action Network)
WeCan is another local organization that helps people in the western lake communities who are out on their luck and could use a little help. We believe that as a community, when we come together, we’re stronger than we are as individuals. This organization supports everything we stand for at Abra Kadabra and is in line with the initiatives we have for giving back to the community, as well as supporting the people around us who help us do what we do.
WeCan provides families with:
- Emergency Assistance (Rent/Mortgage/Utility assistance, Clinical Connection, Emergency vet care)
- Food Support (Meals on Wheels, Mobile Market, Kids’ Food Program)
- Family Programs (School supplies, winter gear, adopt a family, birthday shelf, care and cleaning products)
- Employment Programs (1-on-1 job search assistance, office equipment/electronics)
