When higher parts of the roof rise above freezing temperatures, snow will melt and run down. If the lower areas are cooler, however, this can lead to refreezing and the accumulation of ice. Ice dams frequently form along gutterlines or fascia boards, and in roof valleys.

Ice Dam Prevention
Prevent ice dams this winter with a service plan from Abra Kadabra. Our team will come out and remove the snow on the lower portion of your roofline, as well as any common ice dam formation zones. Any snow removed will be cleared from driveways and walkways.
Package Options:
- Silver Ice Dam Protection: basic prevention with 3 services per winter
- Gold Ice Dam Protection: For homes that require a little more, we offer this option with more time on site and a late fall gutter cleanout included.
Ice Dam Steaming
If it’s already too late to prevent and ice dams have been built up, we can still help. Our team also offers ice dam steaming at an hourly rate. The sooner the dam is removed, the less damage it can do to your home.
