Raccoons Overview:
Raccoons are everywhere, but nobody wants to find them in their home. These animals are capable of forcing entry through your home’s structural weak points, damaging your home and setting up shop in chimneys, soffits, attics, sheds, culverts and more. They are particularly noisy roommates, and can bring diseases into your home.
Our Certifications:
Our team of Wildlife Control Operators is specially trained to identify and remediate situations like this. They remove around 100 raccoons from local homes each year, and have the experience to do so safely and efficiently. Our technicians are all certified as Advanced/Wildlife Control Operators and Zoonotic Disease Professionals with the National Wildlife Control Operator’s Association (NWCOA).
Raccoon Services:
The next step is capturing and removing the resident animals with a trapping program. We use specialized cage traps that mount over structural entry location/s to capture raccoons exiting or entering the structure. We will also utilize baited cage traps near the entry or along areas of activity. Technicians will monitor captures for nursing females to ensure no pups remain unaccounted for in the structure.
Cage traps will be monitored for a 10 day period. All captures will be removed and reported to the property owner, and traps reset and re-baited. Traps will be checked daily. Remote monitoring equipment can be authorized to monitor hard to see traps such as on certain roofs.
Once trapping has been completed, our exclusion team can perform any exclusion work authorized by the property owner. This could include entry point repairs, preventative repairs, pheromone removal, disinfection services or other measures, and is designed to prevent future animal entry.
