Hibernation isnโt just for bears – wasps do it, too. In residential areas, theyโll get into attic spaces, soffit areas and anywhere there is a large enough gap or crack for them to gain access. Theyโre seeking out those ambient temperatures that will be warm enough to sustain them through the winter. In nature, theyโre likely to hunker down in hollow trees and stumps and underneath rocks while they wait out the colder weather.
