Workshop leader Bello is an Associate (ACE) and Board Certified Entomologist (BCE), a combination held by only 7 people in the world, as well as holding an MBA in accounting. Bello is uniquely situated to offer education on both business and pest control expertise, helping Abra Kadabra focus on delivering the highest level of professionalism, expertise, and customer service. Bello literally wrote the books on bedbug and cockroach control (The Bed Bug Combat Manual, the Cockroach Combat Manual II, and editor of Mallis Handbook of Pest Control 8th Edition), has appeared in well-known media publications and programs, and has even functioned as an expert witness in difficult litigation.
Abra Kadabra has grown from a one-man pest control operation in 2005, to a multi-faceted business with almost a dozen employees in 2020. The workshop was an excellent opportunity for Abra Kadabra to consult with the foremost expert on the topic to review their bedbug and cockroach protocols, in preparation for their next expansion into the commercial real estate, senior living, housing association, and multi-unit housing markets.
